Read more: On Green Husker recently bought three of these, and tested at a distance. I thought he had much more beneficial insects than mosquitoes. It is not really eager to box and ship to return, the three units, I balls out of the trap and ran the test again a few days. The difference was phenomenal! There is a bug only good, but only those pesky mosquitoes. Since then, the other two are installed, and I am in the process of seeking additional compensation to put around the patio, so I can stop our two Mosquito Magnets. The only comment on the somewhat misleading description of this article is that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. When used outside, it must be in a covered area like a porch, under house arrest eaves, etc. to keep out rain. The description should have noticed this. However, I am extremely pleased with the performance of this product to date, and try to sell our current two Mosquito Magnet when I find replacements for them rather Dyna Trap units are much cheaper to use, and much less maintenance as well. Now I'm just going to build a sort of refuge for Dyna tight traps, so I can put them at a distance around the yard. I highly recommend this product to someone like me who can not leave without being attacked by bloodthirsty little pests! 83 of 83 people found this review helpful. It seems to work much to Geoffrey Janes bought one of these to try to get their hands on the population of mosquitoes in our backyard. I'm going a few days now, and already filled with quite a few other mosquitoes and gnats. Quiet operation. The only drawback I can see is that the insects are trapped in the device, but they are still alive until they die of hunger and thirst. Emptying the unit will be an interesting task while trying not to let any of them back, I will update this post when I have problems with the device, or if not possible, because the season. But so far it seems to work very well, and costs much less per month than the performance of the other devices that octenol or propane to the work required. I can live with $ 1/month with electricity. -------- ----------- Update the device is still separated. I have to take apart a few times in recent years to clean the gunk from the engine, but continuing to work. If the successful use as a trap for mosquitoes ... I think the moths and flies more than anything else to catch. In the spring the prisoners always mosquitoes by the pound. But when the summer begins mosquitoes seem to get either smarter, or impersonate another race to attack on the disc so much. It's always the catch of mosquitoes, but not so in proportion as it does at the beginning of spring cleaning the trap is very interesting. The case is essentially the bugs until it is about what I expect to die, the dehydration. But its always new insects, so clean it can be difficult. I found the best way to clean is to have a trash can next to the device back, leave the bottom "keeps insects", without turning off the device and the discharge of the owner of the insects in the bag quickly tie, then the case immediately closed so that the bugs are still alive, will not escape. If you are fast, should not or only very few escaped. And I tend to be quite lazy about cleaning. It does not correspond to the point where I asked me to clean every two weeks. To add up so it's a great insect catcher. But do not think it captured all of your blood-sucking problems. * There seems to be working ok, but I have yet to bear with insecticides when I'm traveling. 53 of 55 people found this review using a patio patrons wilcfr This is the second of those they bought. Probably the best trap I've tried and I've tried many. I broke the first one.
