I had to give up these to the fact that two weeks after the start of the summer seemed my arms and my legs were having an illness due to the bite. So I did some research and found that the chemicals we emit from our bodies can actually attract more insect bites. People with thyroid problems tend to have more problems. This explains a lot because I have hypothyroidism. The patch had a lot of sense to me, because it changes its smell is excreted not only covered it. I have not had a bite now! You have no idea what a miracle it was for me. Some people smell vitamins, but I would like to one day a week to enjoy nature again. I can also see that this would not work for everyone because of our body chemistry to be so different. My suggestion is to change your diet or the investigation of any medication you take to see if there is an alternative that I want to buy shares of this company is just to ensure survival! 26 of 27 people found this review helpful. Do not Bug Me Patch - did not work for me because I used the ConnMan product as directed, including the use of two patches, if I had more than 200 pounds. I did two hours before arriving at Boy Scout camp with my son, and changed the patches every 36 hours, as instructed. Within the first 48 hours it was like I had nothing to protect against the mosquitoes (or in my case, as you use products with DEET to 25%, which are also effective for me). I also saw no relief from mosquitoes in the field gathered around our heads. Mosquitoes bite me all over. They do not bug me (mostly) Vonia Why I bought this product for a family vacation in July, my husband is not bothered by mosquitoes or even like this and spend much time outside, but the kids and I always end up bitten. We used the patch by walking, swimming, and playing in the woods, and in the evenings (until July 4th fireworks to watch). We had two bites between the three of us - far less than normal, especially considering the fact that I get home usually biting within 5 minutes after setting foot outside. Disadvantages: You smell like vitamins after a while. I did not have much notice when I use it, but if children used separately, I could smell, so they approached me. (Maybe I'll save it for when my daughters are teenagers and go on a date!) Advantages: It works. It's easy - just peel and stick. I took half of the paper liner at a time, and that the patch be controlled when applying it. I thought the kids complain when I have them removed, but it was not as bad as the removal of a patch (I put the patch in an area without hair, and used a constant tension without sudden tears. Maybe the previous set of a sensitive area? I used the hip and thigh, and that seems to work well.) It lasted all day. I do not have to worry about spray-on children (the youngest still sucks his thumb), or have to bear spray around. So four stars instead of five because the smell vitamin, and because we had a few bites. It worked better for us all but the strongest bug spray (Deep Woods Off) and was much cheaper.
