And I have many friends and relatives of the true believer of this product. It works as it claims, does wonders for most skin problems. Very soft, of course. I use it on my kids. Loomis simple story: Out of curiosity I took a number of strong DEET and a bottle of Cactus Juice on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in August ... when the flies thick, syrupy. The first day, I slathered in DEET. It worked. The flies were hanging six inches from my face, but they do not bite. That said, flying 10 miles to bother me was exhausting. Cactus juice worked much better approach flies. It was as if I were invisible. At first I thought maybe I had just found a fly-Free Walk (is there such a thing in the UP?), So I agreed with cactus juice to see if he was lucky than anyone else. To my surprise, kept the flies to stay away. This material is said to be very effective and very safe. They proudly proclaim "safe for children" on the label, and also my former chemist of fear that has been approved for use in our three years. This summer, my area received record rainfall and with it came a record number of mosquitoes that seemed particularly voracious. And my 3 year old daughter is apparently very delicious! I did not like the idea of ​​cover in DEET every time he ventures into our yard. But other non DEET repellents I've tried in the past have done great things (about, at all). But the repulsive core contains some organic ingredients EcoSmart esp. Geraniol (derived from geraniums, I think) that really work. I had to give up these to the fact that two weeks after the start of the summer seemed my arms and my legs were having an illness due to the bite. So I did some research and found that the chemicals we emit from our bodies can actually attract more insect bites. People with thyroid problems tend to have more problems. This explains a lot because I have hypothyroidism. The patch had a lot of sense to me, because it changes its smell is excreted not only covered it. I have not had a bite now! You have no idea what a miracle it was for me. Some people smell vitamins, but I would like to one day a week to enjoy nature again. I can also see that this would not work for everyone because of our body chemistry to be so different. Do not Bug Me Patch - did not work for me because I used the ConnMan product as directed, including the use of two patches, if I had more than 200 pounds. I did two hours before arriving at Boy Scout camp with my son, and changed the patches every 36 hours, as instructed. Within the first 48 hours it was like I had nothing to protect against the mosquitoes (or in my case, as you use products with DEET to 25%, which are also effective for me). Disadvantages: You smell like vitamins after a while. I did not have much notice when I use it, but if children used separately, I could smell, so they approached me. Kelley science behind this product really sounds convincing and I gave it a shot, but the application method is far too broad to be useful. The bottle is in no way has the power of the product of your water power control. As a result, it comes from the speed with which the water spray hose. My only bottle had only covered about 500 square meters and I was not going slow, trying to saturate soil and foliage. I went at a slow pace and sweep back and forth all my grass and bushes to see were wet, but not sustained or simply let go. I was very disappointed when the product was over and I was only halfway through my backyard. Since I did not get the whole garden is covered, I can not really say whether it was effective in the fight against our mosquitoes or not. I have not noticed any reduction in the population. Maybe if I had washed the court? But I seriously doubt that I think if it would really help, then spray the half of the court would at least have made the place a bit. About 3 weeks later, after several days of rain, the insects are back. So I would say that this is very good for us from errors or less in a chemical-free, except for how the environment for 3 weeks! Still eaten alive by the Great Dane I have a small backyard, and my husband and I love to sit outside at night and talk or read a book. Unfortunately, that rest and relaxation has been taken over by mosquitoes! I bought this product after reading some reviews and thought I give it a try. Having multiple dogs, it was very important that everything I expect it back too safe for them. We sprayed the yard as directed, but saw absolutely no reduction in the number of blood-sucking monster lurking about. Seller gave prompt delivery, and it came in time, unfortunately, not simply the product of our mosquito problem. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Good product, bottle sucking SarahNC I bought this for a weekend barbecue. The rainy season in Raleigh, so I can only vouch for one day I sprayed, not how long it takes with little / no rain. First, the bottle was craptastic The child safety cap (the kind that pushes down turn) was not broken open. I had to pull it .. I think the plastic mold used to make was not accurate. Second issue was fixing the hose. Hose is connected to the right, but not actually pull the bottle. He fell three times during use (the groom was trying to squeeze hefty after the first failure, the wire was bad in the bottle, which probably caused the first problem with removing the cover). That said, when he finally got a good grip on it with the hose in a way that not only could fall again, the spray was well and transparently, so that I could actually see that the product is mixed with water. I sprayed the back cover on the deck, and was on the grass as I could. Pleasant smell of cedar (courtyard of my house smelled freshly clean hamster's cage). There is a simple mosquito bite during the day reported by anyone. The temperature was in the 60s, rain cloud, a little damp last year that was eaten when very hard the next two days, and Skeeter was back. So yes, this works. It will not work as well as the toxic spray, but if you like nature and want a quick solution to a crowd, I say go for it. For CHA were thousands of mosquitoes after the rain outside my house ... all windows, coatings, dooors, and all my fur overhang around the porch area. It was great .... I was in the movie "The Birds" by Alfred Hitchcock! I squirted nebulizer EcoSmart everywhere ... It was a huge swarm of mosquitoes in the beginning ... then DEAD! I love this product ... We had no problem in flea to start, but we use it to prevent this. Our dog was carrying at least six bullets every day. We started to put on the dog and keep near-total chips to enter its not a small thing. Our house is surrounded by woods and stays outside most of the day. Read more: On Green Husker recently bought three of these, and tested at a distance. I thought he had much more beneficial insects than mosquitoes. There is a bug only good, but only those pesky mosquitoes. Since then, the other two are installed, and I am in the process of seeking additional compensation to put around the patio, so I can stop our two Mosquito Magnets. The only comment on the somewhat misleading description of this article is that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. When used outside, it must be in a covered area like a porch, under house arrest eaves, etc. to keep out rain. The description should have noticed this. It seems to work much to Geoffrey Janes bought one of these to try to get their hands on the population of mosquitoes in our backyard. I'm going a few days now, and already filled with quite a few other mosquitoes and gnats. Quiet operation. The only drawback I can see is that the insects are trapped in the device, but they are still alive until they die of hunger and thirst. Emptying the unit will be an interesting task while trying not to let any of them back, I will update this post when I have problems with the device, or if not possible, because the season. But so far it seems to work very well, and costs much less per month than the performance of the other devices that octenol or propane to the work required. We fought with the other options in our two shih-tzu toxic. Poor Henry felt terribly frightening and reactions to them. The natural defenses, dogs have no reaction when applying, and we had no fleas or ticks - and this is the second month I used. Only a small disadvantage is the strong smell of the first days after application. Not a bad odor - like spicy. My husband says it smells like "Christmas." Well, Christmas in over-drive. To treeen These worked very well for me. I'm the type of person who gets little constant, so that gave me relief. Each band is individually wrapped in a ziplock bag with zipper. It's basically a strip of cloth soaked in what looks like citronella. I used one about an hour, sprinkled with plenty of insect repellent (a friend) and put it back in the ziplock, and it worked fine when I used the same again. Fowler I sprayed natural Cutter, whose active ingredient 5% geraniol, geranium oil derivative, on my skin and soon felt a warm, burning sensation when I sprayed all over my arms. I immediately washed my skin with soap and water to remove it. Maybe I just had an allergic reaction to this product, but there was no warning on the label of this type of reaction. I was using the popular spray with DEET and I could not stand their smell and stickiness. I am much happier with this product. More importantly, it works! I spray it on before I sleep and wake up the next morning without a bite. I spray it in the morning and I'm good all day too. I personally like the smell much better. In addition, leaves no residue on my skin. Another nice feature is the pump, which allows me to spray exactly how I want, unlike other aerosol cans to blow out the spray. All 1 reviews ...
