By Elliot I live in California, and I know that mosquitoes are not as bad here as they are in large parts of the country. That said, I basically had stopped using my backyard because I was tired of bites and the risk of West Nile virus. I do not like nasty chemicals used to eradicate all life from my garden. I sprayed my yard (10K square feet) with Mosquito Barrier two weeks ago and have not seen a single mosquito ago. I'm sold! 29 of 30 people found this review helpful. no effect! S. Perez, we have a very bad mosquito problem in our yard this summer - no standing water on the farm, but there is a leak about 3 blocks away you have running water, I guess it has to come from there. I used a pump sprayer and followed the directions on the bottle. It was pretty wet when I had the first treatment, and I repeated it a few days after the first attempt - it does say I'm sorry - I saw absolutely no visible improvement of the mosquito problem in our yard, it is perhaps on some types of works we have mosquitoes the "tiger" type, not only at dusk and again, this product is not for us, not black / white stripes, to bite at any time of day. 14 of 14 people found the following review helpful. Double the dose seems, against the Asian Tiger By Bill From the other reviews, and a critic of this help, I concluded, was the difference between west coast and east coast of the lack of success in the Asian tiger mosquito. So I doubled the concentration to 6 ounces per gallon and sprayed everywhere I could. My dog usually pulls a cloud of mosquitoes when he is outside. After spraying, he attracted only a few, and none the next day. I see the occasional mosquito walking through the yard, but did not come after me. She seems lost, there are still mosquitoes in my house and the woods behind my house where I sprayed, but I am planning to spray the surrounding areas. Now I know that Mosquito Barrier will work, I plan to use as needed, and much, until the season is over (the first freeze). My neighbors noticed the smell, but they want to. See all 52 reviews ....
