Dees I've used this product over the Cascade Mountains in Washington (while working as a wilderness ranger for the Forest Service) to the Everglades (such as Outward Bound Wilderness Instructor). It has never failed me. Dressing for bugs is always your best bet, but a little spritz of this around the neck and ankles can certainly enjoyable evening.
