However, the small print on the front of the canister reads "DIRECTIONS FOR USE: For use in garden beds, around pools, picnic areas, patios, cookouts and camp sites to repel biting, blood-feeding insects such as mosquitoes, flies, gnats, no-see-ums and fleas. Liberally sprinkle the ground with BugBand in 10 foot sections. Normally, re-treat every 2 days. Depending on temperature, time of year and insect activity, daily application may be required. Do not put in pool or food production areas. Nor for use as a pesticide." REALLY WISH I HAD BEEN ABLE TO READ THAT IN THE PRODUCT IMAGE! Our mosquito population is pretty dense and I was hoping this would be the cure. I could handle monthly application during the summer, maybe even every two weeks. But every day?! I will have to save this canister to use right before our next outdoor party and rate its effectiveness then. I rated it 3 stars for now because I can't really say if it's effective or not; I'm just floored that I have to apply it so frequently. It also doesn't say how much the canister should cover.
