Orange Oil Concentrate

Medina Orange Oil contains the raw oil collected from the citrus peel during the juicing extraction. No heat is applied during this "cold pressed" process thereby preserving the integrity of the oil. Orange Oil has been discovered to be an important ingredient in a variety of household and gardening applications. Orange Oil degrades the waxy coating on the ectoskeleton of insects, causing dehydration and asphxiation.

They are mostly under control, but once in a while there will be a small outbreak. I try to combat them right away to make sure their numbers stay small. I really don't like using dangerous chemicals, and I used to simply pour boiling water on the mounds. This worked great, but I always worried about accidentally pouring boiling water on myself. This product has changed that. A soil drench with 4-6 ounces per gallon of this stuff will kill any fire ant in comes in contact with. I generally have to douse a mound 2-3 days in a row to get a complete and utter kill, but I feel much much safer this way, and my wife loves how the yard smells when I'm killing fire ants. 23 of 23 people found the following review helpful. Works great for plug in air fresheners and cat urine marking... By kandoro While I mainly purchased it for specialized cleaning I decided to refill my electric Glade plug in air fresheners with this Orange Oil. You know the kind that have about 1oz. of special oils like lavender/vanilla, etc. Going on 3 months and it's working great. Although my wife's getting kind of bored living in what she calls our new Orange Orchard. Plus my wife read somewhere that male cats don't like the smell and they won't try to mark anywhere this stuff has been sprayed. We have cats who are fine but sometimes strays show up outside and decide to mark around the doors. So far this has stopped them as well. Who would have guessed? I haven't tried any pest control yet but that's next. I never dreamed something like Orange Oil could have so many uses. kd 28 of 31 people found the following review helpful. Orange oil By Fawn Caldwell I used this to make a natural weed and spider killer. I mixed 2 quarts of white vinegar with a teaspoon of liquid dish soap along with 1/2 cup of the orange oil. I put it in a big sprayer meant for such things and applied it to the weeds. It worked well for small weeds but not the larger ones. It killed not only the bad bugs but the good ones as well. It never killed any spiders either. I was not happy with how bees were drawn to this because of the smell and were killed nearly instantly. I will NOT use this again to kill weeds or anything else as I do not want to kill the bees or any beneficial bug. So, instead, I used this mix to clean the floors in my house and what a great job it does for that. See all 16 customer reviews...
