Mosquito Repelling Creeping Thyme Plant - FANTASTIC!

MOSQUITO-REPELLENT THYME THE ONLY PLANT OF ITS KIND IN THE WORLD! Thymus citriodora The Ultimate No-Spray Mosquito Repellent Combats Mosquito Problems Safely This relative of the thyme family has a pleasant lemony fragrance that scents the air with a perfume mosquitoes cannot tolerate. The high citronella oil content of this hardy, easy-to-grow perennial plant is more potent than any other mosquito repellent plant tested, and more potent than citronella candles or sprays, especially when the leaves are rubbed onto exposed areas of bare skin. Reported by plant scientists at a major university, and published in major national magazine media, the mosquitorepellent thyme is up to three times more effective at repelling mosquitoes than other mosquito-repellent plants. Mosquito repellent thyme is used as a garnish or cooking herb; the lemony scent of the herb makes it a great addition or flavoring foods for a citrus scent. The plants are easily grown and spread fast making an attractive low growing 4 tall ground cover with a mass of light violet flowers. Plants will grow successfully in zones 3-10. Also makes a great houseplant in a sunny window! The plant you will receive is growing in a 4" pot.

They all died within 2 weeks. I sent and e-mail explaining my situation. The voice asked for pictures of plants, which I immediately sent. After much back and forth emails with an employee Hirt (name never given), he / she asked what brand of soil that I bought and where I bought it. I responded with an "organic potting soil mixed with sand that I bought at Lowe's." Ideally their response was they do not recommend the floor Lowe. There were no instructions for the type / brand of soil required on the Site or closed with the plants when they arrived. I bought the same land that I always buy and add the sand to help Airat to prevent root rot. The pot has adequate drainage and full sun plants obtained. I have sprayed as recommended. When I finally called to speak with a human, she said she would have to speak with someone else and call me back She called just a few minutes later and said that the person she spoke with "told you that you picked the wrong soil" and "the only thing you can do is ship the plants back to get your money back." I agreed to do this, but told them that I felt it was unprofessional to expect customers to know if they recommend or adivise against a specific soil/product. I also told them that I shouldn't have to pay to ship dead plants in order to receive a refund. I have yet to hear if they will be refunding the shipping charges. (Had I not paid over $40.00 for the products I probably would have just let it go.) I try to support small businesses as opposed to large corporations whenever possible. Sadly, I'll probably stick to Lowe's for garden products from now on. At least I know they will refund my money with no questions asked. 19 of 19 people found the following review helpful.
