I'm not sure what the problem is with DEET-containing products, but I always feel greasy when I use them and they irritate my eyes, nose and mouth. This does not happen with Natrapel. After it dries, you can hardly tell that you have it, but it's very effective. When walking with friends / family, I have seen them jump on and sign immediately jumped out. I have a real phobia of character - especially since deer ticks are so widespread and I have some friends (and their pets) with chronic Borrelia infections from them. In our area of ​​Eastern and Central PA is a huge increase in Lyme disease in recent years, which can cause havoc in the body. My family and I were camping last weekend and we all used Natrapel. None of us were bothered by mosquitoes or ticks. One caveat is that you must use every part of your body, for example, if you use it on your body, but not on the face, the mosquitoes attack your FSCE or other area where the body was not used. Overall, it is so superior to products containing DEET, it is worth finding snd buyinng. At least in our area, it is difficult to find, but you can find online and is well worth the time and effort to find and buy, even if you have to pay extra for delivery.
